If the entire public school and university system could be blown up and rebuilt, this book should be used as the basis for how students are assessed. Unfortunately, that won't ever be possible and teachers/professors will remain hamstrung, dreaming of implementing some of the author's finding (i.e. actually failing students when they deserve a failing grade). That being said, this book is a wonderful tool for innovators and entrepreneurs in education who have the freedom to do as they wish when it comes to assessing students. For those who actually have to respond to the market and get students ROI for educational investments in order to continue to exist (because they don't take government funds), this book is a must.
